Abstract

The artist seeks to achieve aesthetic creativity that is compatible with the society in which he exists and always needs creative features, ideas and inputs to enrich his design performance and obtain distinguished designs. This research aims to achieve one of the pillars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s vision (2030) by searching for new sources full of material folk heritage that It has not been studied before, and the study will address the types of Saudi Arabian horsesTherefore, the research addresses three basic approaches: an approach to showing the different plastic values of the aesthetics of the shapes of Saudi Arabian horses, an approach based on making contemporary designs using thermal paper and direct drawing, and an approach to preserving the Saudi heritage and linking them to create a modern printing plate.Through these entries, the meaning of the Arabian horse, the plastic qualities of the horse, the most famous artists who used the form of horses in their works, analysis of their works, and learning about the technique of printing with thermal paper and direct drawing were explained. The research problem lies in how can we create printed designs using thermal paper printing and direct drawing techniques, inspired by the shape of horses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to preserve the Saudi heritage? - Accordingly, we have created several artistic works using the thermal paper printing and direct drawing method. One of the most important results we reached. Adapting the various plastic capabilities of the Arabian horse shape and employing them in innovative plastic formulations that combine simplicity and modernity, whether in terms of prepared design or performance methods, and then using them in printing posters. The research is also based on the experimental descriptive approach through the practical experience implemented in the research.
